30-Day Rule

You are required to apply for a student residence permit within 30 days after enrolling at the university. Missing this deadline constitutes a legal violation.

Right to Work

Associate degree and bachelor's students can obtain a work permit after the first year, while master's and doctoral students can apply from the registration period onwards.

Province Transfer

If you transfer to a university in a different province, you are required to submit a new residence permit application in your new province.

Is the YOS exam mandatory to apply to a university in Turkey?

Each university sets its own admission criteria. While some universities organize their own YOS exam, others also accept SAT, International Baccalaureate (IB), or country-specific exam results. When should I obtain my student residence permit?

You are required to apply for a student residence permit through the e-Residence system within 30 days after enrolling at the university. Missing this deadline constitutes a legal violation and penalties may be imposed.

How can I apply for Turkiye Scholarships?

Turkiye Scholarships (YTB) applications are accepted every year in January-February through turkiyeburslari.gov.tr. The scholarship offers a monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, and flight ticket benefits. We provide consulting services for preparing your application file.

Are there universities that offer education in English?

Yes. Many state and foundation universities in Turkey offer full or partial education in English. Universities such as ODTÜ, Boğaziçi, Bilkent, Koç, and Sabancı offer internationally recognized English-medium programs.

Is my diploma obtained abroad recognized in Turkey?

An equivalency application to YÖK is required for diplomas obtained abroad to be recognized in Turkey. Bachelor's and graduate equivalency applications are submitted through denklik.yok.gov.tr. We also provide consulting support during this process.

Can I work as a student in Turkey?
